HomeGoods Blogger Party
We got an early start this morning and headed over to HomeGoods in Lake Forest for A Thoughtful Place’s Blogger Party. We have been following Courtney’s blog “A Thoughtful Place” for a while now so it was really fun meeting her in person. She is so sweet! She gave great styling tips and we all received HomeGoods gift cards! The store was open just for those attending the Blogger Party so we had the whole store all to ourselves. We could spend hours there…so much good stuff!
Check out our loot! Husbands…keep in mind that we got a free gift card
My mom and I (Alisa) couldn’t resist buying these cute toys made in the good ole USA from recycled plastic.
Whenever we are at HomeGoods we are always on the lookout for party supplies like these cute cupcake liners, napkins and paper straws. The price is great, you don’t have to pay for shipping and they add such a special touch to any party!
HomeGoods has the greatest wrapping paper. It is so versatile. Not only for wrapping a gift, but it can be used as a table runner, or to line drawers and closets. See how Courtney from A Thoughtful Place decorated the closet in her daughter’s room by lining the walls with wrapping paper.
Check out some ways we have used these party supplies in the past:
Courtney made these cute votive candles as a party favor for everyone to take home. She glammed them up a bit with gold spray paint. Such a cute, simple and fun idea to keep in mind for future parties!
Thanks Courtney for hosting this fun event!
